RTF – Ready To Fire
RTF (Ready To Fire) functions like a standard rifle grip configuration. In this mode, the rifle maintains normal access and handling characteristics similar to a traditional AR-15 setup. It’s ideal for range use, training, or any situation where immediate operation is desired.

FA – Fast Access
FA (Fast Access) is designed for speed and convenience. With a simple slap to the back of the MF’ing Grip, the system instantly transitions into RTF mode. This allows users to quickly move from a compact/collapsed transport position to a ready configuration in one smooth motion.

UC – Under Cover
UC (Under Cover) mode provides trigger shielding while also keeping the rifle’s full-size selector switch in the “safe” position. This setup helps reduce unwanted trigger contact during transport or storage while maintaining a streamlined profile for bags, cases, and vehicle storage.

RA – Restricted Access
RA (Restricted Access) mode adds another level of controlled access. Similar to UC mode, the trigger area remains shielded and the selector switch stays on safe. However, RA also deploys a small release button that keeps the shield locked* in place until it is manually pressed out of the way. This mode is ideal for users who want additional retention during transport or storage. *This is NOT a safety device.

Together, these four carry modes make the MF’ing Grip a versatile system that adapts to a wide range of firearm transport and handling preferences while maintaining quick accessibility and a compact footprint.
